Virtual campus : definition and technology

A virtual campus is a digital space accessible via the Internet dedicated to a learning community that will find educational resources synchronous and asynchronous, and many features of communication, collaboration, exchanges, meetings ... The virtual campus promotes interactions between learners and teaching staff and between learners themselves, even among the teaching staff. The "virtual campus" provides access to a persistent 3D environment based on the modeling of a real campus or the creation of an imaginary campus. Concretely, this translates into a website built with a Learning Management System connected to a 3D world. French version.
